The Bolesławiec Municipality Office informs:

(…) in 2024 the monthly rate for managing municipal waste has not changed and, pursuant to a resolution of the Bolesławiec Municipal Council, amounts to:

  • PLN 30.00 per person if waste is collected and picked up selectively.

It also emphasizes:

The municipal waste collection fee applies to all persons living in the Bolesławiec Municipality (also those without registered residence).

The declaration submitted to the Municipality Office constitutes the basis for calculating and paying the fee for managing municipal waste.

The fee for managing municipal waste from properties where residents live is paid without a demand for payment, in a total amount for three calendar months, by the following deadlines:

  1. for the first quarter by 15 March of the given year,
  2. for the second quarter by 15 May of the given year,
  3. for the third quarter by 15 September of the given year,
  4. for the fourth quarter by 15 November of the given year.

Pursuant to a resolution of the Bolesławiec Municipal Council, the fee for managing municipal waste must be paid by bank transfer to the bank account of the Bolesławiec Municipality Office (i.e. the individual bank account number assigned to each person liable for the fee in question).

Detailed information can be obtained at the Bolesławiec Municipality Office during office hours and by telephone at 75 732 32 21-23, extension 121.

It adds:

It is also recalled that, pursuant to Article 6m(2) of the Act on Maintaining Cleanliness and Order in Municipalities, if there is a change in the data forming the basis for determining the amount of the fee due for managing municipal waste or the quantity of municipal waste generated on a given property specified in the declaration, the property owner is obliged to submit a new declaration by the 10th day of the month following the month in which the change occurred.

Circumstances in which a new declaration must be submitted include:

  • a change in the number of people living at the property (e.g. a new resident moving in, moving out, death, birth of a child, etc.),
  • sale of the property,
  • a change of property owner or of the form of ownership or control of the property.

If a person liable for the fee fails to submit a declaration (or if there are justified doubts concerning the data contained in the declaration), the fee for managing municipal waste may, pursuant to Article 6o of the Act on Maintaining Cleanliness and Order in Municipalities, be calculated by administrative decision, based on the data held by the Municipality Office.

Officials: – We therefore appeal to the municipality’s residents to report themselves any changes to the data forming the basis for determining the amount of the fee due for managing municipal waste by submitting a reliable declaration on the amount of the waste-management fee. Failure to comply with this obligation leads to an administrative decision being issued in the matter, resulting in arrears and interest.

They add: – At the same time, we inform you that the data contained in submitted declarations (mainly concerning the stated number of residents living at the property) are subject to ongoing verification, and if discrepancies arise compared with the data held by this office, requests for explanations and amendments to the declaration are sent.
