As reported by RMF radio, a bull terrier attacked the child at home. The parents brought the girl to hospital.
The child could not be saved.

Agnieszka Goguł, commissioner and spokesperson for the District Police Headquarters in Zgorzelec, said that the tragic incident occurred on Tuesday at around 4 p.m. at the child’s home.
The several-week-old girl was brought to the local hospital with wounds resulting from dog bites. The injuries were so extensive that the child could not be saved; doctors informed the police of the death after 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
The police, under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office, are investigating the circumstances of the incident, said the spokesperson for the Zgorzelec police.
