A private prosecution against the administrators was filed by the commander of the Central Aviation Centre of the ZHP Headquarters and president of the Polish Parachutists Association “Trawers.” He felt offended by words posted during a discussion initiated online.
After considering the case, the court issued its ruling – Marcin Denys and Kasjan Staronka were acquitted of the charges brought against them (Article 212, paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Criminal Code). In its reasoning, the court stated that no one can be held responsible for someone else’s words. The judgment is not final.
It should be added that Marcin Denys was at the center of the controversy that arose during the design of the logo for the Youth World Championships in Classic Bowling, held last year in Bolesławiec. Denys plagiarized the logo and presented it as his own. The matter ended with a report being filed with the prosecutor’s office.
