On Christmas Eve, the duty officer at the County Police Headquarters in Zgorzelec was notified that an 18-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County had been beaten. The incident took place in one of the municipalities in Zgorzelec County. According to the report, three men beat the victim, rendering him helpless, and then took his phone and watch.
In this case, officers from the Criminal Division of the Zgorzelec police station detained two 17-year-olds and a 31-year-old man suspected of the crime. Further actions led to the recovery of the stolen property.
All those detained will now face trial for the crime they committed. They could face up to 15 years in prison.
