Julia Komarek, a student at the Stanisław Wyspiański Youth Cultural Centre in Bolesławiec, has joined a support programme for exceptionally talented young people, run by the National Fund for Children. Julia is 8 years old. For three years, she has attended multidirectional visual arts classes taught by MDK teacher Katarzyna Sas.
With the support of the National Fund for Children, Julia will present her work at two painting exhibitions in Warsaw. The first will take place in March 2011, and the second in October. What is more, during the summer holidays, the MDK student will take part in a two-week plein-air workshop.
