The GKS Otok Facebook profile published information about partying on the pitch. The description indicates that a group of people were “having fun” there, using firecrackers and flares. The incident was recorded by the pitch’s surveillance system. It turns out that once again we are dealing with a situation in which someone from outside comes and shows no respect for other people’s work. And this is not the first such situation in Otok. The partygoers leave bottles and other rubbish behind, including on the pitch, and the club then has to clean it up. The club is currently considering how to solve this problem.

Let us recall that football clubs in the lower leagues operate mainly thanks to the voluntary work and dedication of the people involved in them. This is also the case at GKS Otok. It is sad that many people are unable to respect this.

GKS Otok:

We are at a loss for words.... It is a shame that you cannot understand that the pitch is not a place to organise your pseudo-parties. Someone takes care of ensuring that the community can use it, but there are always a few narrow-minded people who think otherwise. Set off your firecrackers, flares, etc. outside your own homes—don’t your parents allow it?

(...) Today, only screenshots from the surveillance system; every next incident will involve sharing the entire recordings, including those in which, to put it bluntly, you vomit all over yourselves. Every subsequent incident involving damage to the facility or disturbing residents’ peace will be reported to the police.

Once again, it is the club that suffers because of your idiotic behaviour....
