Scammers offer seemingly attractive working conditions: an employment contract, wages paid in advance, as well as a company car and telephone. Criminals use forged documents (such as consignment notes from well-known shipping companies) intended to create the impression that the applicant will be an employee of a legitimate transport company.

In reality, the “courier” job involves transporting goods and property originating from criminal activity, mainly as a result of fraud and extortion. The consequence is criminal prosecution abroad, and claiming an alleged lack of awareness of participation in a crime is not treated as an excuse.

Be careful! Verify and check information and documents, especially if a job offer seems suspiciously attractive! Do not let yourself be scammed!
