During the ceremony, the couples were honored with diplomas and medals for long marital life, awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland. The distinguished jubilee couples were decorated by Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman.

Family members, acquaintances and friends of the jubilee couples attended the ceremony marking 50 years of marriage. The ceremony was enhanced by a concert performed by young artists from the BOK-MCC studio.
The Medal for Long Marital Life, established in 1960, is awarded to people who have spent 50 years in a single marriage.
