On Monday afternoon, firefighters from Lwówek Śląski received a report of an explosion in one of the buildings in Rakowice Wielkie. In addition to firefighters, an emergency medical team and police were also dispatched to the scene.
At the scene, it turned out that a woman had suffered burns. As reported by the website lwowecki.info:
Preliminary information from the scene indicates that, most likely, the bioethanol fireplace caught fire and exploded while it was being refueled. The woman who was refueling it suffered serious burns. She was taken to hospital with injuries to her limbs.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
