The modernization of the municipal stadium on Spółdzielcza Street in Bolesławiec is underway. This week, four poles with lighting fixtures were installed there.

As part of the modernization, a pitch with a natural grass surface and a playing area measuring 64x100 m will be built. In addition to lighting, there will also be an irrigation system. Technical infrastructure for supporting athletics events will also be installed in the pitch. Professional football goals will be installed behind the goal lines. The goals will be dismantled during athletics events. The pitch will be equipped with covered team shelters for substitute players and a shelter for referees.
The complex will include, among other things: a warm-up shot-put area; a warm-up track with a long-jump and triple-jump pit; and mobile team shelters for the substitute players of both teams. The construction of stands is planned for the next stage of the investment. The covered stands will be located on the Spółdzielcza Street side. They will accommodate approximately 900 people.
The stadium is to be opened in autumn 2024.
