The vehicles handed over included two heavy rescue-and-firefighting vehicles, which will join the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Legnica and the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Kamienna Góra. Medium rescue-and-firefighting vehicles will go to the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service in: Bolesławcu, Lubin, Lwówek Śląski, Trzebnica and Zgorzelec (GBA 3/28 Renault 4x4 will go to JRG Bolesławiec – Editor’s note).

During today’s assembly, light special reconnaissance-and-rescue vehicles were also handed over to the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Świdnica, along with a light special operational vehicle for the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Oleśnica.

The handover certificates, commemorative diplomas, documents and vehicle keys were presented by Deputy Chief of the State Fire Service, Brigadier General Adam Konieczny, PhD, Eng., Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Cezary Przybylski, President of the Management Board of the Wrocław Regional Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management Łukasz Kasztelowicz, and Lower Silesian Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service Brigadier General Marek Kamiński.

In recognition of many years of cooperation and support for initiatives serving the protection of life, health, property and the environment, including financing the purchase of the vehicles presented, the Lower Silesian Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service also presented commemorative diplomas.

In his speech, Brigadier General Adam Konieczny, PhD, Eng., said, among other things:

I warmly congratulate the commanders who received vehicles today and the firefighters, because modern equipment is reaching you, and new technologies are entering rescue operations. We are a service that is constantly developing, and by replacing vehicles we can be more effective.
