We were informed about the matter by a Reader:
Here is the problem: it has already been more than a week since the snowfall began and temperatures have remained below 0°C. On (…) Stanisława Staszica Street, between numbers 41 and 63, not a single vehicle with a snowplow or grit spreader has appeared, and presumably never will. The street is a sheet of ice. It is difficult to cross the road to get to a car or anywhere else.
And added:
The situation repeats every winter; no one takes care of this street. In previous years, there have already been cases of people suffering fractures after falling on this section of the street.
He also appealed to officials and employees of municipal services, pointing out that their work “does not consist solely of inviting one another to exhibitions, competitions and other useless undertakings that bring no tangible benefits to residents.”
He also stated: – And you hold such positions that you ought to… besides pushing glass, come out from behind your desks and see what is happening in the city. The election is just around the corner xD
We appeal to those responsible for this situation to take action.
