The Museum of Ceramics in Bolesławiec, the “Camera” Photographic Association, and collectors of postcards and historical objects connected with the town and county invite you to take part in the photography competition “Bolesławiec: Then and Now.” Both professional photographers and amateurs can take part in the competition. Attractive prizes are planned for the winners.
Each participant in the competition will receive, by drawing lots, a set of two pre-war views of Bolesławiec. The participants’ task will be to locate the places shown in the photographs or postcards and take contemporary photographs of them. The jury will assess the correct identification of the locations and the artistic value of the photographs.
The envelopes containing the tasks will be drawn on 20 October from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Museum of Ceramics in Bolesławiec, City History Department, 14 Kutuzowa Street. The deadline for submitting photographs is 26 October at 5:00 p.m..
The results will be announced on 29 October at 5:00 p.m., during the opening of the exhibition “Old Views of Bolesławiec and the Surrounding Area,” at the Museum building at 14 Kutuzowa Street.
