The removal of the effects of this morning’s incident on the A4 motorway is still underway. In the incident, a truck carrying rapeseed overturned. The incident occurred at kilometre 55 of the motorway, toward the border with Germany. The A4 motorway is blocked toward the border at the interchange—the Pod Kogutem exit near Okmiany.
The traffic jam on National Road No. 94 toward Bolesławiec currently begins in Chojnów. At roughly the same point, the A4 motorway toward the border is also congested. Massive traffic jams are also forming in Bolesławiec itself.
The ring road is congested, among other places, from the “Solidarity” roundabout near Kruszyn to the “Lech Kaczyński” roundabout by Kościuszki Street. Some traffic is also using the ring road (DK297) to the roundabout near Łaziska, and then Kosiby Street through Bolesławiec.

There are no longer any traffic jams on Kosiby Street in Bolesławiec. The approach to Bolesławiec on DK94 from the direction of Chojnów remains congested, as does the Bolesławiec ring road, from the roundabout near Kruszyn to the roundabout by Kościuszki Street. There is also a traffic jam on Kościuszki Street toward Łąka and the A4 motorway.

Bolesławiec police report that the A4 motorway has been reopened.
The situation on the roads in Bolesławiec and the region should soon return to normal.
