An important piece of information for passengers travelling on the D6 route between Wrocław Główny and Szklarska Poręba is that Ersatz Bus Transport will be introduced on the Janowice Wielkie–Jelenia Góra section from November 12 to 27.

– Bus services stopping at Trzcińsko and Wojanów will be coordinated in Janowice Wielkie with trains heading towards Wrocław. For the accelerated weekend trains “Szklarka” and “Szrenica”, Ersatz Bus Transport will operate from Janowice Wielkie via Jelenia Góra and Piechowice to Szklarska Poręba Górna – informs Bartłomiej Rodak, press spokesperson for Koleje Dolnośląskie.

Construction work in Kąty Wrocławskie will affect the timetable

Due to work involving the replacement of the overhead contact network in Kąty Wrocławskie and the resulting limited capacity, the following trains will not run on the Smolec–Mietków section from November 12 to December 9:

  • no. 60751, Wrocław Gł. 6:30 – Kąty Wrocławskie 6:56,
  • no. 60770, Kąty Wrocławskie 7:02 – Wrocław 7:28.

In addition, changes involve shortening the routes or eliminating stops for the following trains:

  • no. 69107, Wrocław Gł. 13:57 – Świebodzice (instead of Wałbrzych Miasto),
  • no. 69238, Świebodzice (instead of departing from Wałbrzych Miasto) – Wrocław Gł. 15:56, will run as an accelerated service without stops at Imbramowice, Sadowice Wrocławskie, Mokronos Górny and Wrocław Zachodni,
  • no. 60780, Kąty Wrocławskie 18:18 – Wrocław Gł., will not stop at Sadowice Wrocławskie, Smolec, Mokronos Górny or Wrocław Zachodni

From November 13 to 21, due to closures, Ersatz Bus Transport will operate on the Dzierżoniów Śląski/Ząbkowice Śląskie–Kamieniec Ząbkowicki section.

“Kaczawa” back to normal, mushroom pickers’ stop goes into winter sleep

The D10 train “Kaczawa” between Wrocław and Zgorzelec, departing from the capital of Lower Silesia at 18:15, returns to operating according to the annual timetable. As a result, it will not stop at the following stations: Wrocław Żerniki, Wrocław Leśnica, Mrozów, Miękinia, Przedmoście Święte, Malczyce, Szczedrzykowice and Jaśkowice Legnickie.

Train no. 69575 on the D1 route between Wrocław Główny and Lubań Śląski also returns to operating according to the annual timetable. It will depart from Wrocław at 17:45 and stop at all railway stations and stops on the Wrocław Główny–Legnica section.

What other adjustments await us? – Trains between Wrocław and Żary, as every year during the winter period, will not stop at Studzianka, a stop popular with mushroom pickers. Of course, everything will return to normal in spring. From March 9, our trains will stop there again – says Bartłomiej Rodak, spokesperson for KD.

Attention, passengers travelling on the D9 route between Wrocław and Lichkov! Until November 30, services on the Kłodzko–Międzylesie section will be operated by Ersatz Bus Transport.
