The mayor of the Bolesławiec Rural Municipality is retiring. After 40 years of work, he wants to devote himself to his family.
– I am leaving the municipality prosperous, after the reconstruction of the lighting system (2,500 lamps are independent of Energia Pro), with new pavements and roads. Five villages have gas installations. I believe I was a good mayor – Kazimierz Gawron tells us in an interview.
In the first direct election, Kazimierz Gawron had three opponents and won with 70% support. In the most recent election, he was the only candidate. He recommends his deputy, Andrzej Dutkowski, as a proven local-government official with whom he has worked for 20 years.
