Detailed program of the celebrations:

  • 11:00 a.m. – Bolesławiec Marian Basilica: solemn Holy Mass for the Homeland, attended by the Honor Guard Company of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment in Bolesławiec, soldiers of the XXVI rotation of the Polish Military Contingent EUFOR and the Municipal Brass Band;
  • 12:00 p.m. – Monument to the 100th Anniversary of Regaining Independence: singing of the National Anthem, Independence Roll Call, Honor Salute, farewell to the soldiers of the XXVI rotation of the Polish Military Contingent EUFOR ALTHEA, oath-taking by students of the military-profile class of the II General Secondary School, laying flowers at the monument;
  • 1:15 p.m. – march through the city streets along Kościelna Street – Rynek – Kościelna Street – Łukasiewicza Street – Rev. Jerzy Popiełuszko Square: a mounted patrol march by the Reconstruction Group of the 6th Kaniowscy Lancers Regiment, led by Marshal Józef Piłsudski and accompanied by ladies of the court;
  • 2:00–4:00 p.m. – MILITARY PICNIC
    Rev. Jerzy Popiełuszko Square – a performance by the Reconstruction Group of the 6th Kaniowscy Lancers Regiment, horseback rides;
    Marshal Józef Piłsudski Square – military pea soup, a display of equipment belonging to the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment and the US Army, a presentation of weapons by the Association of Former Soldiers of the 62nd Commando Special Company;
  • 6:00 p.m. – INDEPENDENCE CONCERT at the Old Theatre, featuring the State Music School of the first degree in Bolesławiec, the Bolesławiec Song and Dance Ensemble, the vocal studio of the Youth Cultural Center in Bolesławiec, and scouts from the ZHP Troop named after the Gray Ranks.
