“Does There Have to Be a Tragedy for the Streetlights to Start Working?”

A reader sent us a photo taken on October 30, after 9:00 p.m., on Zgorzelecka Street in Bolesławiec.

She added:

Does there have to be a tragedy for the streetlights to start working? Pedestrians walk onto the road, while drivers do not see them and brake at the last moment. Please intervene.

We have reported on the problem with the city’s streetlights in these pages many times. We appeal to the person responsible—the city mayor—to take action.
