Thirty officers of the Nadodrzański Border Guard Unit and 10 German police officers from units in Forst and Ludwigsdorf took part in the joint operation.
During the operation, 85 people were checked, including Ukrainians, Syrians, Turks, Lithuanians, Romanians, Tajiks, Uzbeks, Czechs and Slovaks. Thirty-five passenger and freight vehicles were stopped for roadside inspections. Nearby parking areas and petrol stations were also checked in the area of the operation.

The joint Polish-German operation led to the detection and detention of 43 illegal migrants from Syria and Turkey, as well as six foreign nationals from Ukraine, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan suspected of assisting in the cross-border smuggling of migrants through Poland to Western Europe. The vast majority of the detained foreign nationals had entered Poland via the so-called Balkan route.

They were travelling in passenger cars with the intention of reaching Germany. All the detained foreign nationals were held criminally and administratively liable for attempting to cross the Polish-German border in violation of the regulations, as well as for assisting in the smuggling of migrants.
