A new track by a rapper from our region:
What did you think of this track? We invite you to join the discussion.
Let us remind you. In March, we reported that Dominik Kearney, a rapper from Przemków, recorded another track with Wojtek Jabłoński, a multi-instrumentalist and guitarist with the hugely popular band Kult, as well as a co-creator of Kazik’s “Zaraza”.
This was not the first collaboration between the two. W. Jabłoński co-wrote the new version of Dominik’s track “To my”. Importantly, the Kult member then recomposed the music for the aforementioned track, recorded the guitar parts himself and produced the music video.
Dominik wrote on his social media profile at the time:
A month ago, together with Wojtek Jabłoński (KULT), Michał Dimon Jastrzębski (LAO CHE), Konrad Wantrych (KULT) and DJ CREON (TRZECI WYMIAR), we recorded the track “Mam ponad metr 80”.
Today, I invite you to hear the results of this collaboration.
You can check out Dominik’s previous tracks on the DOMINIK KEARNEY channel. We also encourage you to listen to his original show on the online radio station Radiospacja, “KilometrPodZiemią”. The programme is based on hip-hop from the 1990s.
Below are two versions of the banger “To my”:
And a track about Marian Banaś, head of the Supreme Audit Office, portrayed in the music video by Krzysztof Skiba himself, from the legendary band Big Cyc.
And also an anti-war track featuring actor Piotr Zelt:
