As reported by the firefighters from Krzyżowa:
(...) at 8:25 p.m. we intervened four times to remove the effects of the overnight wind gusts.
These interventions concerned:
- a tree fallen across the road between Kraśnik and Chościszowice,
- a tree fallen onto a garage in Krzyżowa,
- a tree fallen across a road in Kraśnik Górny,
- a tree fallen onto the roadside and road between Krzyżowa and Kraśnik.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
The Bolesławiec County Headquarters of the State Fire Service reported on the operations:
On the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, a storm passed through Bolesławiec County, with wind gusts reaching approximately 80 kilometers per hour. The strong gusts damaged vehicles, power lines and building roofs. Most of the emergency service operations involved removing fallen trees and branches that were blocking roads.
