While June this year was a cool month, September and the beginning of October can be considered exceptionally warm, or even hot. Air temperatures recently exceeded 27°C in the shade, which at this time of year in our climate zone is not normal.
On Tuesday, October 3, IMGW-PIB’s Centre for Meteorological Modelling announced on its Twitter profile that a heat record had been set in Legnica. At 12:50 p.m., a temperature of 29.2°C was recorded there. This broke the record from 1966. Naturally, this refers to temperature measurements in Poland.
