Local flooding is occurring in all municipalities of Bolesławiec County. Since yesterday, firefighters have intervened more than 100 times. The fire service is pumping water out of flooded basements and residential rooms. The main roads in the county are passable.

Heavy rainfall is causing water to run off the fields. The soil is so waterlogged that it can no longer absorb water. As a result, local flooding is also occurring in areas where there is no river. The situation is difficult in Kraśnik Dolny, where the Bobrzyca has flooded at least a dozen farms and local roads. Tomaszów Bolesławiecki is also at risk of flooding. A flood alert has been declared in Gmina Nowogrodziec.
