Equality March/Christopher Street Day
- When? Saturday, September 30
- What time? The march starts at 1:00 p.m.
- Where from? Görlitz railway station
- How to get there: by car or with Koleje Dolnośląskie to Zgorzelec at 11:10 a.m. (only 40 minutes by train) + 50 minutes on foot to the station in Görlitz
Additional information: Travel between the Zgorzelec and Görlitz stations is free of charge! You can leave Bolesławiec at 11:10 a.m., then change to the 12:00 p.m. train and travel one stop.
If anyone wants to celebrate longer, on Friday, September 29 they can go to a queer evening at the “Camillo” cinema. Short films will be shown from 7:00 p.m. At 9:00 p.m., the “Hotti” bar will open its doors, making the evening more enjoyable with live music. Admission is free. Donations are welcome.
Programme for September 30: Christopher Street Day/Equality March
- 1:00 p.m. Görlitz railway station; the march route leads across the bridge over the Neisse
- 3:00 p.m. Diversity Picnic in the city park in Görlitz. Time together with speeches, a stage programme, various stalls and live music by the band “State of Heart” from Weißwasser.
- 7:00 p.m. party at Nostromo club. On two dance floors, people will be able to have fun and dance to techno and alternative pop. Weather permitting, an outdoor lounge will also be open. Young people (up to 16 years old) are welcome until 10:00 p.m. (upon presenting an admission card signed by a guardian).
