On September 20, a ceremony handing over funding promises for the purchase of equipment for Volunteer Fire Brigades was held at Rescue and Firefighting Unit No. 1 in Jelenia Góra.
Firefighters from the following counties received funding promises: bolesławiecki, kamiennogórski, karkonoski, lubański, lwówecki and zgorzelecki. All this took place as part of the “National Funding Programme for Rescue Services. Part 2. Funding for the Purchase of Equipment and Supplies for Volunteer Fire Brigade Units,” financed by the Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Wrocław and the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
