The firefighters from Trzebień:
On Saturday, September 2, 2023, after a four-year break caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the expansion of our headquarters, the 5th Open Day of the Volunteer Fire Brigade Station in Trzebień was held. Both the residents of Trzebień and the guests who came to the event from nearby towns certainly could not complain about boredom.
Many competitions and games with a firefighting theme were held that day, for both children and adults. The firefighters said: – The members of our unit demonstrated the vehicles and rescue equipment acquired recently.
They also added:
During the event, visitors could use the food stalls: delicious pierogi (including the firefighters’ variety) and fries served by the Trzebień Rural Housewives’ Circle, as well as stalls offering cake, pea soup, grilled products and other treats served by the women and men of our unit.
The children had a free area available to them, featuring an inflatable attraction. It remained very popular until the evening.
And they summed up:
As in previous years, the 5th Open Day of the Fire Station ended with a dance party that lasted until the early morning hours.
We sincerely thank our families, acquaintances and friends of the Volunteer Fire Brigade in Trzebień for the effort they put in and the hours spent organizing this event. We thank all the sponsors, thanks to whom the participants in our competitions received wonderful prizes: Textil Bolesławiec, based in Trzebień, and Pomoc Drogowa Speed-Trans Bolesławiec.
After such a successful event, there is nothing left to do but invite everyone back next year.
