In an email to the editorial office, the Reader wrote:
Leśny Potok swimming complex closed despite sunny and hot weather – while the staff are sitting around.
As the director of the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre in Bolesławiec, istotne.pl was told by Paweł Dul, the pools on Jeleniogórska Street cannot be opened within a few days. This would require considerable financial outlays, and lifeguard staff would also be needed. Besides, another spell of bad weather is expected as early as the middle of this week.
The director nevertheless announces that the pools at Leśny Potok will be opened later this year. Traditionally, a winter swimming event will be held there on 11 November.
And everyone who would like to go swimming is invited by P. Dul to Orka, which – after a maintenance break – is already prepared for the new season.
