– Last Saturday, I completed an ultratriathlon over the double Ironman distance – Maciej Śliwa told istotne.pl, a resident of Kruszyn who works in the City of Ceramics. – Such an event consists of 7.6 km of swimming, 360 km of cycling and 84.4 km of running.
Our athlete placed sixth overall (among nearly 60 competitors) and third in the M40 category!
Interestingly, the event took place in… Bolesławiec, but the one located on the Prosna River (Łódź Voivodeship). However, our endurance athlete prepared for the event organized by Tower Triathlon on local roads and at the swimming pool.
