On Sunday, September 3, IV League BKS hosted visitors from Oława at the pitch on Rajska Street in Bolesławiec. After the away draw in Świdnica, hopes for the Bolesławiec team’s first win were high. Unfortunately, the visitors from Oława won the match.
In the 15th minute, the referee awarded the visitors a penalty, which was converted by Łukasz Skolimowski. In the 25th minute, following a cross by a visiting player, Michał Kapusz. unfortunately directed the ball into his own goal.
BKS fought to change the score until the final minutes. There were opportunities to do so, but the result did not change. Moto-Jelcz Oława defeated BKS Bolesławiec 2–0 (2–0), and the three points went to Oława. You can watch highlights of the match on the YouTube channel Studio 100 goli.
In a week, the Bolesławiec team will play an away match against Zenit Międzybórz.
It is also worth mentioning that the visiting team was supported by a group of approximately 80 fans, who arrived at the match toward the end of the first half and occupied a stadium section closed to use. The arrival of visiting fans was expected in Bolesławiec. Therefore, considerable police forces gathered around the pitch on Rajska Street.
As a consolation, it can be added that BKS’s second team ended its Sunday away match with a win. In Gromadka, the Bolesławiec team defeated the local GKS 3–1 (2–0).
