During Wednesday’s City Council session, Mayor Piotr Roman said that presumably all councillors already knew about the PLN 1 million grant for an angiography machine for the Bolesławiec hospital. – This is our contribution resulting from the calculations by the hospital director, Kamil Barczyk – the head of the city administration noted. – The assumption is that all municipalities will participate in the costs.
The Mayor of the Municipality of Bolesławiec then stressed that this is extremely necessary equipment, especially in the context of lifestyle diseases; equipment that the City of Ceramics had not yet had.
He concluded: – Our dream is to bring about a situation in which we will be allowed to open a cardiology department – because for now there is a major problem.
He also emphasized that the Bolesławiec hospital is prepared for this, but for it to happen, a decision is needed “at the intersection of expertise and politics”.
