At the end of Wednesday's meeting of the Bolesławiec City Council, local government officials spoke about planned investments. Kazimierz Łomotowski, head of the Municipal Housing Management Company, mentioned, among other things, that Łajba will be demolished and that... a viewing platform will be built in its place. (As was emphasized during the August session, an object of this type operated there earlier, in the second half of the 1980s).
Work on constructing the new viewing platform is to begin at the turn of November and December this year.
What do you think? Will you miss Łajba? How do you assess this idea? We invite you to join the discussion.
We will return to this topic.
