The competition for the most beautiful traditional harvest wreath is certainly one of the most eagerly awaited events in Bolesławiec County.
The jury had the difficult task of choosing a winner, but ultimately managed to select a wreath distinguished by its exceptional aesthetics, creativity and meticulous workmanship.
The commission consisted of: Alicja Lech – Head of the Organizational Department and Chairwoman, Katarzyna Zięba – Head of the Department of Education, Culture and Sport, Ewa Wojciechowska – artist and teacher at the Youth Cultural Centre in Bolesławiec, and Emilia Michałowska – from the County Promotion Division. When evaluating the harvest festival creations, the commission paid attention to the high artistic level, intricately crafted details and creativity.
Here are the scores:
- 1st place – Ocice, 47 points;
- 2nd place – Brzeźnik, 45 points;
- 3rd place – Bożejowice-Rakowice, 44 points;
commendations for the villages of Kraśnik Górny, Kruszyn, Tomaszów Bolesławiecki and Tomisław.
The Lower Silesian Voivodeship Harvest Festival will take place this coming Saturday, 2 September 2023, in Szczepanów.
The awards and diplomas will be presented during the September session of the County Council, on 28 September 2023.
