Sunday’s match between BKS II and Sparta Zebrzydowa was interrupted before the end of the first half, with BKS leading 1–0 (following a goal by Adrian Biały).
From the beginning of the match, play was rough, and the referee showed several yellow cards to players from both teams. After the first quarter of an hour, the visitors were down a player when one of their players received a second yellow card and consequently a red card. In the following minutes, tensions on the pitch continued to rise. There were many fouls and too much rough play. At the same time, the visitors had increasingly more complaints about the officials, whom they believed were refereeing unfairly. Things were unsettled both on and off the pitch. Some people lost their tempers and insults were shouted.
As a result, more Sparta players were shown red cards and had to leave the field. In addition, one dissatisfied spectator (probably a visiting fan) threw a can onto the pitch, in the direction of the assistant referee, and then left the area. The assistant referee reported the incident to the head referee. As a result, the head referee decided to stop the match.
The question remains: where is sport in all of this?
What happens next?
The matter will be decided by the OZPN disciplinary committee. What do you think—the disciplinary committee should make what decision?
