Drunk cyclist caught because he was riding on the pavement. Warning! A very high fine applies

Officers from SPPP Legnica, while on duty in Bolesławiec, noticed a cyclist riding on the pavement. Our KPP: – The 22-year-old was riding a bicycle while intoxicated. The test showed 1.5 per mille of alcohol in his system.

Bolesławiec police:

We remind you that riding while intoxicated is prohibited. Driving a motor vehicle with more than 0.5 per mille of alcohol in the blood is a crime punishable by a fine, restriction of liberty or imprisonment for up to 2 years.

They add:

In the case of riding a bicycle, it is an offence punishable by arrest or a fine of no less than 2,500 zlotys.
