On Sunday, 5 September, a festival organized by the Rural Housewives’ Circle, the Village Council and the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec with its registered office in Kruszyna was held in Dobra. The Sunday event began with a Mass celebrated by Rev. Józef Hupa.
The following performers appeared on stage: Martyna Janiec and Patryk Woźny, Agnieszka Miszkiewicz, Bis Band and a group consisting of: Katarzyna Tobiasz, Monika Zawrotniak, Wojciech Tobiasz and Cezary Byrski. Folk music enthusiasts also had no reason to complain. That day, the following performed: Singing Ensemble from Żeliszów and a folk ensemble from Dobra. Event participants could also watch a dance performance by the Carmen group.
Competitions for children and adults were also held during the festival. Among other things, the little ones had to draw a portrait of Maria Błotna, the village head of Dobra, while blindfolded.
The event ended with a dance party. Residents of our county danced until dawn.
