Eleven councillors voted in favour of adopting the resolution. Six members of the left-wing group voted against it. No one abstained. Granting such a substantial discount is connected with the property’s designation for religious activities.
Initially, the resolution proposed granting a 95-percent discount on the property’s price, but following a motion by councillor Jarosław Kowalski, the discount was increased to 99%. The plot has an area of 264 sq m and is located by Plac Zamkowy. A parish building stands on the property, and it is intended to house the Regional Museum of Sacred Art.
