The July meeting of the Bolesławiec City Council is behind us. Piotr Roman, the mayor of the City of Ceramics, presented a report on the most important actions taken during the intersessional period. The mayor mentioned that the housing market in our city is doing very well:
We are experiencing a housing boom the likes of which Bolesławiec has never seen before.
He noted that developers are planning to build 1,500 new homes here. He also said that one of the new estates will be built on Kościuszki Street, in the area behind the PKP railway station. More than 500 units will be built there.
Piotr Roman stressed that the aforementioned investments—on Kościuszki Street and on Modłowa, Staroszkolna and in Zabobrze—show that people want to live in Bolesławiec. But all this also presents challenges for the municipal authorities, as it will be necessary to build estate roads.
We will certainly return to this topic.
