What actions have been taken by businesses and official inspection bodies?

Chief Sanitary Inspectorate:

The manufacturer – Konspol Holding Sp. z o.o. – fully cooperated with the Veterinary Inspection authorities to withdraw the product from the market, informed the distributor of the identified non-compliance, determined the probable cause of the aforementioned risk and implemented corrective measures.

Jeronimo Martins Polska S.A. withdrew the product from sale on 16 June 2023 from the distribution centres and Biedronka chain stores to which it had been delivered.

Official food control authorities, in cooperation with the entities involved, are conducting an explanatory investigation into the matter and monitoring the product withdrawal process.

What are the recommendations for consumers?

Sanitary inspection: – Do not consume the product from the batch covered by the notice. If symptoms of illness occur after consuming the product covered by the notice, contact a doctor.
