The detention took place during the night of August 19–20 in Bolesławiec. At around 4:00 a.m., the police duty officer received a report about a man behaving suspiciously. A patrol went to the scene. The suspect was dismantling sheet metal from the entrance canopy of one of the banks. Officers detained him in the act.
The man had previously been convicted of similar offenses. He now faces up to 5 years in prison.
