The incident occurred on the night of 22–23 August. The officer monitoring surveillance cameras noticed a man who had stolen a large jug worth PLN 600–700 from a ceramic exhibition located in the Market Square. A municipal police patrol immediately went to the scene. The officers apprehended the suspect. It turned out that the man was drunk. His exhaled air contained 1.3 per mille of alcohol. Further proceedings in the case are being conducted by the Bolesławiec police.
