A fantastic team of acrobats from Bolesławiec (including one male acrobat) gave a performance lasting more than half an hour in Bolesławiec’s Market Square. The girls train under Patryk Jaworowski and Marek Jaworowski, both of whom are international sports acrobatics instructors. Every day, they train children and young people under the auspices of the OCELOT Foundation for Supporting Movement Culture.
The more-than-half-hour performance in full sunlight on the Market Square was a major challenge for some of the girls.
“There was stage fright, and those performing outdoors for the first time were surprised,” coach Marek Jaworowski said after the performances. “I always repeat that training in a gym is different from training outdoors. For some, it is a real wake-up call,” the coach added.
Despite their nerves and the new performance conditions, the girls did a wonderful job and received much applause from the audience, who were delighted by their performance.
At the art workshops led by Kinga, Bartek and Grażyna, the children made colorful crowns, while the little ones splashed around in clay slip on a specially prepared mat. Water and casting slip are something every child loves. Several-year-old Anastazja ruled the mat. At first, the girl did not want to dip her hands into the slip, but once she followed the adults’ example, the joy and fun had no end.
