A tragic incident occurred on Saturday evening—June 3. In Kłopotnica, Mirsk municipality (Lwówek County), a 33-year-old man allegedly assaulted a 30-year-old woman, a resident of Karkonosze County. An emergency medical team and police were dispatched to the scene. Attempts were made to resuscitate the woman, but unfortunately they were unsuccessful.

The man suspected of assault resulting in death left the scene. Police immediately launched a large-scale search. The Search Group from the County Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski joined the operation. Officers are also using police dogs.
The man may be dangerous, so police appeal to the public not to attempt to detain him if they encounter the wanted man, but to call 112.

The man has been detained. On Sunday, June 4, one of the residents of Mirsk municipality recognized the wanted man and notified the police.
