– Today I had the honor of receiving from the President of the Republic of Poland the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta, awarded for my work on behalf of local government. This is an extremely important decoration and honor for me. I have been involved with local government since its beginnings, for more than 30 years. The most important thing for me has always been the well-being of the residents of our small homeland, Lower Silesia, and the continued development of the entire region.
