As reported by the Bolesławiec WCR:
Training sessions with experienced soldier-instructors will be held on selected Saturdays and Sundays in spring and summer in city parks, at beaches, and in sports and recreation centres throughout Poland.
Already on Saturday, 27 May, in 16 cities all interested adult women will be able to take part in an almost four-hour, free, practical training session in self-defense techniques, led by qualified soldier-instructors.
And adds:
The project is being carried out in every voivodeship on selected weekends from 27 May to 20 August. Soldier-instructors will teach the basic principles of everyday safety, ways of detecting and avoiding threats, and hand-to-hand combat techniques useful in dangerous situations. It is an opportunity for all interested women to learn, under the guidance of experienced instructors, the basic skills needed to behave in life- or health-threatening situations, especially those resulting from physical violence used against them. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about the principles of a healthy lifestyle and refresh their practical knowledge of first aid.
And adds:
The project aims to promote national defense and build self-confidence in crisis situations. After completing the training, each participant will receive a commemorative certificate.
