The inspectors focused on the ISPA Project Implementation Office, located in the Bolesławiec municipal office. They checked whether the project and its financial aspects were being managed in accordance with the law.

The inspectors also examined how contracts were concluded and whether officials were providing sufficient information about the project's progress and the assistance funds. The inspection results showed that the Municipality of Bolesławiec is implementing the ISPA project correctly.

The inspection also once again drew attention to the issue of PWiK's legal status. The Water and Sewerage Company remains a state-owned enterprise, with the voivode serving as its founding authority. For the city to be able to use European Union funds freely, the enterprise should be municipalized.
