On Monday, 15 May, an agreement was signed for the construction of a traffic town in Brzeźnik.

The work is expected to continue until the end of August this year. The municipal authorities say:

The contract covers the construction of a traffic town in the village of Brzeźnik, together with accompanying infrastructure, including lighting for the traffic town area, street furniture and a concrete-paver sidewalk providing access to the traffic town.

What exactly will be built in Brzeźnik?

The contract includes:

  • A Traffic Town with an asphalt surface, including ground replacement and sub-base construction, together with equipment;
  • installation of solar-powered traffic lights;
  • vertical and horizontal road markings in accordance with the provisions of the Highway Code;
  • lighting for the Traffic Town;
  • street furniture, including benches, rubbish bins, bicycle racks, information boards and similar items, as well as colourful playground markings between the town’s roads;
  • a concrete-paver sidewalk providing access to the Traffic Town.
