Saturday’s match between A-class bottom side Przyszłość Dłużyna and BKS II Bolesławiec could generally be described as a crazy game, but its ending was the craziest part. Bolesławiec led 2:1 at halftime. Paweł Rissmann scored twice, converting a free kick and a penalty (in the 8th and 31st minutes). The visitors’ goal was scored just before halftime by Miłosz Szuper (44th minute). It is also worth noting that the players from Dłużyna missed a penalty in the first half.

Four more goals were scored after the break. When Mirosław Markowski extended BKS’s lead to 3:1 (86th minute), it seemed the match was already decided, but nothing could have been further from the truth. Moments later, the visitors reduced the deficit to 3:2 (a goal by Mariusz Bartosik in the 88th minute), making things tense. Then came the goal of the match—if not of the round, perhaps even of the entire competition?

In the 89th minute, Jakub Kwoczka shot from the halfway line toward Dłużyna’s goal. The ball lobbed the visiting goalkeeper and went into the net. This sparked widespread joy and congratulations from the substitutes’ bench directed at the scorer. They were entirely justified, as goals like that are seen very rarely. However, the 4:2 scoreline lasted only a moment. The visitors had the final say, reducing the deficit once again in the 90th minute (to 4:3) through a goal by Dawid Grudzień.

BKS II Bolesławiec – Przyszłość Dłużyna 4:3 (2:1).
