The artillerymen’s training was inaugurated after an efficient and trouble-free move by the regiment’s chief of staff, Lieutenant Colonel Paweł Jędryczka, who outlined the training objectives and the most important tasks to be carried out by the Bolesławiec artillerymen:
Today we are beginning three weeks of training at the training ground. During this intensive training, the subunits, reinforced by reservists undertaking short-term military exercises, will carry out live-fire tasks using live ammunition. I recommend focusing primarily on individual training activities and preparing the subunits for the next tasks that await us in the near future. I wish all the soldiers undergoing training the highest standard of task performance and completion while observing all safety requirements.
After the personnel responsible for various functions had presented the most important tasks of this year’s first training-ground exercise, detailed briefings were conducted on the safety rules in force at the training-ground facilities. Immediately after the assembly, the subunits began carrying out the training-ground exercise.
