A device monitoring and displaying the current speed of passing vehicles has been installed on Bohaterów Getta Street, level with the exit from the marketplace. When a driver is travelling at the permitted speed of 40 km/h (or slower), the device displays the measured speed in green and thanks them for complying with the regulations.
When a driver exceeds the speed limit permitted on this section, the device changes its display to red. It also displays the message “slow down” and informs drivers what fine and how many penalty points they may receive for such a speeding offence. What do you think—will it be safer there?
