The incident occurred on the night of August 4–5. On one of the streets in Bolesławiec, a police patrol noticed two women carrying bags of flowers. When they saw the officers, the women hid in nearby bushes. It turned out that the suspects—residents of Bolesławiec aged 40 and 52—had pulled flowers out of a flower bed by the roots. Gmina Miejska assessed the damage at PLN 110.
The women from Bolesławiec will answer for their actions in court. They face a fine of up to PLN 5,000 or detention for up to 30 days.
